    Call your bank or go to an ATM and do a balance inquiry.

    It kind of sounds like you applied for an online loan off some website. Unfortunately, those are ALL scams. You will never get that money put in your account – in fact, you might find that whatever money you did have in that account is now gone. Anything you put in that account is now accessible to the scammer as well. Don't give out your bank account details online.
